The Silk Road digital museum adheres to the principles of joint consultation, co construction and sharing, mainly in English and supplemented by Chinese, cooperates with domestic and foreign Silk Road museums to build a platform integrating "digital collection", "digital exhibition", "digital knowledge" and "cloud curation". The Silk Road digital Expo is committed to carrying out exchanges and cooperation among museums along the Silk Road, breaking the offline space limitations of physical collections and museums, realizing the exchange and sharing of online resources and carrying forward the spirit of the Silk Road; It also provides a platform for University Museum teaching and Museum talent training for their study, practice and exhibition planning, and exercises and improves their exhibition planning and design ability.

Through the Silk Road digital museum, & nbsp; Visitors can choose collections in the "digital collection" resource library, choose Exhibition cabinets, booths and other appliances on the "cloud curation" platform, design space style, plan exhibition routes, and conduct independent design, planning and presentation.
"Xiazhuang gathering: Treasures from the Silk Road", the first 3D opening exhibition of the Silk Road Digital Museum designed by the "cloud curator" platform, will also be officially launched at the opening ceremony of the "2021 Silk Road week" on June 18. The exhibition is divided into four sections: "grassland Silk Road", "desert oasis Silk Road", "maritime Silk Road" and "Buddhist Silk Road". It is an exhibition composed of 1-3 exhibits selected by each museum in the cooperative Museum of the Silk Road digital museum, so as to show the wide coverage of the Silk Road, the rich content and the close cultural and technological exchanges between the East and the West. It is worth mentioning that this exhibition is also the first pure 3D exhibition planned and exhibited by the "cloud curation" platform of silk road digital Expo. It is a new attempt of the museum in the process of "digital reform"!
